Many customers have noticed similarities between some Legion Fitness Equipment products and equipment formerly produced by Tuff Stuff Fitness. We appreciate the questions and want to clearly explain the history — and the lack of any formal relationship — between the two companies.

First and foremost, Legion Fitness Equipment did not purchase Tuff Stuff Fitness and is not affiliated with them in any official capacity.

However, our owner’s other longstanding company, Fitness 4 Home Superstore, was a Tuff Stuff dealer for over 20 years and one of their largest dealers worldwide. When Tuff Stuff went out of business, rather than letting some of the best gym designs in the industry disappear, we resurrected select designs within our existing Legion product lineup — enhancing them with new accessories, modern styling, and more competitive pricing while maintaining (and in some cases improving) quality.

We also ensured there were no patent or intellectual property issues before moving forward.

These resurrected products represent only a portion of the Legion brand and will continue to be followed by many new, original products.

We didn’t reinvent the wheel — we made a great one even better.
