3. Bend forward at the waist, maintaining a straight back, until you feel a stretch in your hamstrings. 

4. Raise your torso back up, concentrating on engaging your glutes and hamstrings. 

5. For added resistance, consider holding a weight plate or dumbbell during the exercise.
